12/07/2017 I've been told by the psychiatrist to write down a recap of my days in this journal from now on, or at least until I don't feel confident enough to talk with the other people in this place. He says that it'll make me feel better, but I highly doubt it. It hurts just to think about how all of this started, both physically and mentally. Writing about it won't solve the issue. I don't think I have that much choice, though. If I don't do it, he will scold me for not keeping my word. I hate that he'll be actively checking this abomination, but I have to. It all started about two or three days ago when I was still on the surface. A friend of mine and I decided to go for a walk around the city and talk a bit about the various things we had planned for the rest of the summer. We spent a lot of time chatting, joking and laughing. Everything seemed to go perfectly fine. And it did... ...until I came back home, that is. After dinner, I went to go brush my teeth.
